The day coincides with the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, so the Festival will kick the day off with a Special Blessing of the Animals and a Parade of Dogs. Dogs with different abilities of all kinds are invited. Whether your dog is deaf, blind, has orthopedic issues, mobility issues, cancer, epilepsy or heart disease, or just coping with being a "senior," you and your dog are invited to participate!
While the games are geared toward differently-abled dogs, the Blessing, Clinics and Workshops are open to all, so even if you don't share your life with one of these amazing beings, you are more than welcome to attend the event!
We are adding new information every week, so please check back often for more information, or contact us directly (see Contact Us page).
